We focus on varieties that are not traditionally grown. Our more than 350 varieties of apples are either antique/heritage varieties or very new varieties, including some we have developed ourselves! We also offer dozens of varieties of peaches, plums, and pears, plus delicious grapes and Asian pears.
Vegetable selections include flavorful and unique varieties including those we have developed here at the farm. Farmer Ike’s beets, carrots, peppers, and eggplant are a real hit, and you’ll find them nowhere else.
We love flavor so much that we invite all apple geeks (and the apple curious!) to join us for “Adventures in Flavor” events at the farm in fall. You can also pick up an ‘Apple Passport’ at market and keep track of your own adventures in flavor throughout apple season. Apples are available from mid-July through early December.
We and our helpers (who are wonderful young people exploring sustainable agriculture as a profession) always love to talking food and flavor with you, so we look forward to seeing you every week at the market!
